If you've never driven the famous Willow City Loop during wildflower season (which I ashamedly confess I had not until last week), then you are REALLY missing something special. My mom and I decided to see what the fuss was all about last Tuesday and drive the famed loop and snap some photos. We were greeted with some of the most exquisite Texas Hill Country views I have ever seen anywhere. We saw sweeping hill top views, some of the highest peaks in the Hill Country, beautiful streams with cattle grazing and, thanks to my daughters, even a 75 foot waterfall! Click HERE to see 42 of my favorite wildflower shots on the Loop AND for directions on how to get there! It's a must-do in the Hill Country. When my brother and his wife visit, they always drive the loop no matter what time of year it is. You just can't beat the scenery!
